Our final residential workshop dedicated to the polyphonic reconstruction of the missing tenor book from Baldwin Partbooks (GB-Och: Mus979-83) will take place at Newcastle University on 11-13 March 2016. Sessions:
- Friday 11 March, 2.00pm-5.00pm: John Sheppard and Robert White (Magnus Williamson, Newcastle University);
- Saturday 12 March, 9.30am-1.00pm: William Byrd (Andrew Johnstone, Trinity College, Dublin);
- Saturday 12 March, 2.00pm-5.30pm: Luca Marenzio (Marina Toffetti, University of Padua);
- Sunday 13 March, 10.00am-1.00pm: William Mundy (Tim Symons, Early English Church Music).
Suitable for: second- and third-year undergraduates; postgraduate students; interested amateur participants with training in harmony and counterpoint; interested observers.
