Reconstruction Workshop II

Our second residential workshop dedicated to the polyphonic reconstruction of the missing tenor book from Baldwin Partbooks (GB-Och: Mus979-83) will take place at Sidney Sussex College, Cambridge on 13-15 November 2015. (To see what happened at out previous workshop in March see our 'Storify' of the weekend.)

This time there will be an emphasis on the works of William Mundy and Thomas Tallis, with sessions on editing Tudor Polyphony and completeing missing parts led by John Milsom, Stephen Rice, David Skinner and Magnus Williamson (among others).

Materials will be circulated in advance for participants to have a go at their own reconstructions. Attendance is free, but you will need to register by 3rd October by downloading, completing and returning this form: RECON 2 Registration Form
